Chapter 1 : Introduction to ABA

Define ABA, learn real life examples of how it is implemented, learn applied behavior interventions realize the importance of data and data based decisions and learn about how to use ABA in an autism program.

Chapter 3 : RBT Task List

The BACB’s Registered Behavior TechnicianTM (RBT®) Task List includes the primary tasks that are likely to be performed by behavior technicians with some, but not necessarily all, clients. It is at the discretion of an RBT supervisor to determine any activities outside of this task list that a behavior technician is competent to perform as a behavior technician.

Chapter 5 : RBT Ethical Code

The RBT® Ethics Code describes the ethical requirements for both RBTs and RBT applicants. All RBTs and RBT applicants must agree to abide by this code.

A series of RBT training videos that cover measurement, nagative reinforcement, skill acquisition, prompting and behavior reduction.

Chapter 7 : Changes to the RBT Requirements

With the ever-increasing numbers of RBTs and the visibility of RBT services, the BACB decided to review the current standards for obtaining and maintaining the RBT credential. They commissioned a committee of subject matter experts to make recommendations. In December 2018, the board voted to approve the recommendations. These are those changes.
